The Northbrook Theater in Northbrook, IL, has selected AKG DMS 700 digital wireless microphone systems to play a role in all 12 of its annual productions. The 300-seat theater recently upgraded to the DMS 700 systems, incorporating 12 DSR 700 receivers, 10 CK 77 Microphones, and 25 DPT 700 bodypacks. Leading sound and lighting provider Peak Hire Ltd. of Gloucester, England, recently bolstered its inventory of products with the purchase of eight EAW KF850 Series Virtual Array loudspeakers and eight EAW SB1002 large-format flyable subwoofers. Audio integration firm Daktronics-Sportsound recently upgraded the sound system at Washington-Grizzly Stadium at the University of Montana, home to the University’s Division I football team. The new system at the stadium features JBL Professional VLA line arrays as well as PD Series loudspeakers. Washington-Grizzly Stadium opened in 1986 and has undergone several expansions.
