At the 129th AES Convention NTi Audio released the PC Projector software for the handheld XL2 Audio and Acoustic Analyzer. The XL2 Projector displays the instruments screen in real-time via the USB connection to the PC. The virtual keyboard enables the user to control the instrument with mouse clicks from the PC. L-Acoustics has announced the launch of the KARA/SB18 Pilot Program, after unveiling the concept at Frankfurt Prolight+Sound 2010.
The KARA/SB18 Pilot Program will primarily involve existing members of the L-Acoustice Rental Network, including dV-DOSC owners interested in advanced field testing of the new system for corporate and special events through to concert applications.

Mackie describes the HD1531 as a “15” High-Definition Powered Loudspeaker System”. Yep, it’s got a 15” woofer, and it’s a three-way system, and it’s powered.
