Audio integration firm Daktronics-Sportsound recently upgraded the sound system at Washington-Grizzly Stadium at the University of Montana, home to the University’s Division I football team. The new system at the stadium features JBL Professional VLA line arrays as well as PD Series loudspeakers. Washington-Grizzly Stadium opened in 1986 and has undergone several expansions. With the most recent upper deck expansion of 2,000 seats, capacity is currently 25,203. Eighth Day Sound recently did double-duty on two major events, the Hot 97 Summer Jam at Giants Stadium in New York, and then moving south to the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Tennessee. Turner Field, home of Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves, originally opened as the Centennial Olympic Stadium for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
