Spider Ranch Productions, located in San Francisco, CA, recently purchased McCauley Sound’s new M421 Quad subwoofers to augment its existing inventory of McCauley Monarc MLA6 and MLA3 main line array systems and M88 2 x 18 subs. The M421 incorporates four 21-inch long-excursion neodymium motor transducers with 6-inch voice coils, with the unit’s continuous power handling capacity in excess of 12,000 watts (24,000 watts instantaneous peak) and a maximum peak output of 155 dB SPL (at 1 meter).
