The Edge, one of New Zealand’s leading performing arts, commercial entertainment and convention facilities, recently purchased a Soundcraft Si3 console to accommodate its three separate venues. Located in Auckland, The Edge is home to the Aotea Centre’s ASB Theatre and Conventions Wing, The Civic and Auckland Town Hall performance venues. Systems integrator AV Communications recently installed a Soundcraft Si3 console as the centerpiece for its audio system design at the new Mapleview Community Church in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. In a significant audio upgrade project at Thornapple Evangelical Covenant Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the first Soundcraft Si3 digital console sold to a house of worship was recently installed to help deliver better quality sound for the 750 who attend services and participate in ministries every week. Outdoor concert goers were recently entertained in Delhi by touring French song and dance troupe Breizh Side Soriou, with the 47-member troupe performed through a Soundcraft Si3 digital console and PA company, Dhawan Electrical Pvt. Ltd of Delhi, also supplying a JBL Professional loudspeaker rig comprising VRX932LA compact arrays and SRX 728S subwoofers powered by Crown IT4000 amplification. Soundcraft has announced a new member of the Si Series of digital consoles - the Soundcraft Si2 - a smaller partner to the company’s Si3.
