    FCC Votes To Allow “White Spaces” Devices In Wireless Systems RF Spectrum

    The Federal Communications Commission voted Tuesday (November 4) to allow technology companies like Google, Microsoft, Dell, and Motorola to produce “white spaces” devices that will use the same radio frequency (RF) spectrum now being used by wireless microphone systems.  Final text of the rules is not yet available, but the order is purported to greatly reduce the amount of clear spectrum available for use by professional audio and communications equipment.     Wireless Microphone Interference a ‘Catastrophe’ for Nashville

    KRK Systems Unveils New Rokit Line of Powered Studio Monitors

    KRK Systems has unveiled the second generation of its Rokit monitor, now incorporating several technologies from the company’s flagship VXT and E8B lines such as radically radiused edges along the front of the cabinet. The new Rokits replace the current Rokit 5-inch, 6-inch and 8-inch models.
