A sound reinforcement system providing by Britannia Row and featuring dual Midas PRO6 digital mixing systems was utilized for the recent two week U.K. tour by Paolo Nutini. The PRO6s were used by Nutini’s Front Of House Engineer Graham ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson and Monitor Engineer Tom Howat, who was also mixing support band The Panics plus additional support acts appearing on the tour. The AC/DC Black Ice world tour has landed the UK, accompanied by vintage as well as the latest in Midas console technology. The Midas PRO6 live audio system picked up the MIPA (Musikmesse International Press Award) for Live Mixing Desk at Prolight + Sound 2009. Midas Consoles Benelux has sold a package of equipment including two Midas PRO6 digital consoles, a Venice 160 console and Klark Teknik Square ONE signal processing to Deltion College in Zwolle, the Netherlands. Newly-formed Dutch rental company AVL Concept has made a strong investment in its future growth by investing in a large amount of new pro audio equipment, including a Midas PRO6 and a Heritage 3000 consoles.
