    Jimmy’z d’Hiver nightclub in Monaco has recently undergone a renovation, during which the 300-capacity club has been equipped with an L-Acoustics ARCS constant curvature WST system. The new sound system was supplied and installed by L-Acoustics Certified Provider, system integrator and distributor Services Électroniques & Sonorisation (SES).     Sennheiser and Neumann microphones were utilized for a wide range of live music applications at the recent 81st Academy Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. Orchestra mixer Dan Wallin was in charge of all of the live and pre-recorded music. Working in Remote Recording’s “Silver Studio” backstage, Wallin selected Neumann TLM 193, TLM 170 and Sennheiser MKH 8040 wired mics to capture the orchestra.
