The new subwoofer is engineered for maximum power transfer when operated with Class D and similar (iPal compatible) amplifiers.     Eighteen Sound debuted five new products that join its growing family of coaxial loudspeakers, and they were on display at the recent Prolight+Sound/Messe in Frankfurt. The new 8CX650 and 10CX650 feature ferrite motors and provide extended LF. Each has a nominal dispersion of 90 degrees. The 2.5-inch (65-mm) LF copper voice coil employs the company’s proprietary Interleaved Sandwich Voice coil (ISV) technology.
