Black Box Music of Berlin, Germany has become one of the first rental companies to invest in a second L-Acoustics K1 WST line source system, giving the German company a total of 96 K1 boxes. L-Acoustics’ sole Rental Network company in the Hawaiian islands, Rhema Services, has added four LA8-equipped LA-RAK touring amplifier racks to its inventory. Founded in October of 1999 as a division of Nani Leo Inc., Rhema Services took delivery of its first V-DOSC and ARCS enclosures in January of 2000. Since then, the sound reinforcement company has grown its L-Acoustics roster to include 24 V-DOSC, 12 dV-DOSC, 22 ARCS, 32 subs and 45 stage wedges in addition to its new LA-RAKs.…

Southern California-based Sound Image has now joined the list of North American L-Acoustics K1/KUDO Pilot Program companies. At the request of Robert Scovill, Tom Petty’s longtime front of house engineer, Sound Image took delivery of L-Acoustics’ K Standard package comprised of 48 K1 and 36 KUDO enclosures, 24 K1-SB and 24 SB28 subs, plus accompanying LA-RAK amplified controller racks. CCI Solutions of Olympia, WA, recently completed the first phase of a full audio system retrofit at Shoreline Community Church, located in Monterey, CA, with the primary accomplishment of this phase being the installation of an all-L-ACOUSTICS loudspeaker and amplified controller package. Rat Sound Systems of Oxnard, California has beefed up its inventory of L-Acoustics K1 systems to a grand total of 64 with the recent purchase of 16 additional enclosures.
