Montreal-based Solotech, known for supporting A-list international clients like Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Leonard Cohen, Andre Rieu, Michael Buble and Diana Krall, has now become the first Canadian company to join the L-Acoustics K1/KUDO Pilot Program. Southern California-based Sound Image has now joined the list of North American L-Acoustics K1/KUDO Pilot Program companies. At the request of Robert Scovill, Tom Petty’s longtime front of house engineer, Sound Image took delivery of L-Acoustics’ K Standard package comprised of 48 K1 and 36 KUDO enclosures, 24 K1-SB and 24 SB28 subs, plus accompanying LA-RAK amplified controller racks.
