    Maestro Zubin Mehta and the Bavarian State Orchestra recently hosted a landmark event known as “Ehsaas-e-Kashmir” (Concert for Kashmir) in the foothills of the Himalayas. The town of Srinagar had not witnessed any official form of cultural activity since a cricket match in 1983, making this one of the most eagerly anticipated concerts in recent times.     For nearly a quarter of a century, Dallas-based Onstage Systems has been steadily updating its equipment inventories to continually raise the production bar for clients like George Strait and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.     Southern California-based Sound Image has now joined the list of North American L-Acoustics K1/KUDO Pilot Program companies. At the request of Robert Scovill, Tom Petty’s longtime front of house engineer, Sound Image took delivery of L-Acoustics’ K Standard package comprised of 48 K1 and 36 KUDO enclosures, 24 K1-SB and 24 SB28 subs, plus accompanying LA-RAK amplified controller racks.
