Work was proceeding normally in the design and construction of the new 550-seat sanctuary for the Vineyard Church in Duluth, Minnesota, when something unexpected occurred. About that time, our rep called to say Allen & Heath had announced the iLive-T at the NAMM show.…

A new addition to the Allen & Heath PL remote control range, the PL-11 is an IR receiver that uses the proprietary PL-Anet CAT5 plug and play protocol employed in Allen & Heath’s iDR and iLive digital mixing systems. Built in to a wallplate backing, the PL-11 receives commands from the PL-5 hand held IR transmitter, which can be set to perform specific functions using iDR’s System Manager software or via the TouchScreen in iLive mixing consoles. The day after the announcement, Redman placed the first order. “Our churches had been waiting for a console with these features, at this price point, for a very long time,” Redman explains. “So we were ready to go with it.” The needs of Victory Christian Fellowship in Audubon, PA have been…

The most notable thing about weekly services at Christ’s Church at Mason (Ohio) is that each service is in a distinctly different style – traditional, contemporary and blended. The church’s 1300-seat sanctuary was recently renovated with a new sound system to handle the contemporary and blended services while a smaller chapel was built to handle the traditional service. Longtime integrator Worship Resources was brought in to develop an appropriate audio design, with an Allen & Heath iLive-144 digital mixing system…
