Guitar Center Professional (GC Pro), the outside sales division of Guitar Center has announced the latest in its ongoing series of online sweepstakes at www.gcpro.com. The new contest is now live and will run through June 30, 2010, shortly after which a new contest will begin. The Music Production Technology program at the Mike Curb College of Art, Music and Science at Daytona State College recently chose Guitar Center Professional (GC Pro), to supply the equipment for their facilities that just opened to students this January. The newly opened Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Troy, New York) was intended, from its conception, to be a space where the arts, technology, and science would challenge and transform each other. Guitar Center and Guitar Center Professional (GC Pro) have announced an agreement with AMS Neve stating that GC Pro is the exclusive U.S. sales channel for the new Neve Genesys, a custom-crafted, expandable analog recording console with digital workstation control, as well as related products.
