The Vinyl Music Festival is the largest electronic music festival on the Gulf Coast of Florida, second only to the Winter Music Festival held in Miami. The event celebrates DJ artists from around the world and highlights the best local talent in the region. The four-day event took place in Sarasota in mid-July and attracted over 6,000 attendees. Bigger and better than ever, the recent Sunset Music Festival 2010 gave Miami’s trance / house music enthusiasts much to cheer about. A plethora of Midas digital mixing systems were used across this year’s three-day T in the Park festival held in Scotland earlier this month. Meyer Sound has announced it was named the official Sound Supplier of the Montreal International Jazz Festival which runs from June 25-July 6, 2010. While Meyer Sound equipment has been used at the festival in previous years, 2010 marks the first season that Meyer Sound’s Berkeley-built sound systems will be used exclusively throughout all festival venues.
