Audio-Technica has announced that over 3,000 of its microphones will be used at the XXI Winter Olympic Games, coming up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in February 2010. Leading sound and lighting provider Peak Hire Ltd. of Gloucester, England, recently bolstered its inventory of products with the purchase of eight EAW KF850 Series Virtual Array loudspeakers and eight EAW SB1002 large-format flyable subwoofers. Audio integration firm Daktronics-Sportsound recently upgraded the sound system at Washington-Grizzly Stadium at the University of Montana, home to the University’s Division I football team. The new system at the stadium features JBL Professional VLA line arrays as well as PD Series loudspeakers. Washington-Grizzly Stadium opened in 1986 and has undergone several expansions.
