    At its Tuesday (5th April) morning press briefing at Prolight+Sound, Cadac unveiled a number of new hardware and software developments for its CDC consoles and MegaCOMMS audio network. These were the CDC MC Optical Bridge, CDC MC AES3 Stagebox and CDC MC Router software application, and CDC Console V3.01 Software. These were all trailed ahead of the press briefing.     CADAC’s Polish distributor, Tommex, has installed a CDC six console in the Miejskie Centrum Kultury (MCK) in Płońsk, as part of the modernization of the town’s cultural center. This is the latest in a clutch of initial sales of CADAC’s medium format live sound console across Europe, which has seen consoles ship to customers in Benelux, Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden and the UK.     CADAC has announced at Prolight + Sound that its new CDC six and CDC eight digital consoles are shipping with an integrated Waves card for Waves MultiRack SoundGrid server as standard. CDC six and CDC eight feature an integrated Waves 64 channel I/O interface card which provides connectivity to the Waves MultiRack SoundGrid via Cat5e cable.     CADAC is launching an uprated version of its CDC MC Dante – MegaCOMMS audio bridge, on its stand at Prolight + Sound.  The CDC MC Dante V2 is a 1U Dante to MegaCOMMS audio network bridge enabling Dante units to be incorporated within a MegaCOMMS audio network.     Noted UK singer/songwriter Paul Carrack has purchased a CADAC LIVE1 1642 compact console for use as a new submixer with his keyboard rig.
