AVnu Alliance has named the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL), an independent networking and data communications testing provider, as the first test house for the AVnu Alliance certification program of AVB devices. This agreement is a significant step forward in advancing the IEEE 802.1 AVB standards and bringing certified AVB networking products to the market. Powersoft has become a promoter member of the AVnu Alliance, the industry forum that aims at establishing and promoting the IEEE 802.1 Ethernet Audio/Video Bridging (AVB) standards. The AVnu Alliance will enjoy its first birthday celebrations at the upcoming InfoComm 2010 tradeshow in Las Vegas and will host a dedicated AVB technology and product pavilion on the show floor, and an alliance panel discussion.
