Mackie describes the HD1531 as a “15” High-Definition Powered Loudspeaker System”. Yep, it’s got a 15” woofer, and it’s a three-way system, and it’s powered. Now what’s all this about being “High Definition”? I suppose I could try to explain it, but it might be easier if you just go here (pdf) and get the Mackie explanation.
