    SoundField Now Shipping UPM-1 Processor, A Stereo-To-5.1 Converter

    SoundField has begun shipping the first quantities of its latest product, the UPM-1 stereo-to-5.1 converter, a 19-inch rack processor designed to create 5.1 content from old program material that only has a stereo soundtrack.
