The first UK rental company to purchase Martin Audio’s MLA (Multi-cellular Loudspeaker Array), RG Jones Sound Engineering also found itself in the unique position of being the first to debut the scaled-down version of this technology with the brand-new MLA Compact. “I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the new system,” states Simon Honywill, who seized the opportunity to mix Chris Rea’s sound through the MLA Compact on the closing dates of the recent European and UK tour. The new Jet Blue Park in Fort Myers, FL, spring training home of the Boston Red Sox, is outfitted with a sound reinforcement system headed by a selection of Community Professional WET and R-Series weather-resistant loudspeakers. The audio system for the 11,000-capacity venue was designed by Gary White of WJHW, based in Dallas, and installed by Jupiter, FL-based Peerson Audio.
