Following the games, it was converted to a baseball park, with was part of the plan all along, and the Braves moved in at the start of the 1997 season. Participants in the conference included TELEFUNKEN licensees from Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, various East European countries, Russia, Israel, Middle and Far East.
