Primacoustic (division of Radial Engineering Ltd.) is please to announce that renown Nashville engineer/producer Chuck Ainlay has added Recoil Stabilizers to his monitor setup at Sound Stage Surround studios.
The Recoil Stabilizers are nearfield reference monitor platforms that both isolate the loudspeaker from the shelf while adding a massive platform that stabilize the motion of the loudspeaker. The net effect is a more solid bottom end and improved consistency as monitors are moved from one space to another.
Known for his work with artists such as Mark Knopfler, Vince Gill, Wynonna, Trisha Yearwood, George Strait, Peter Frampton and Lyle Lovett, Mr. Ainlay had this to say about the Recoils: “Your mixes are only as good as your monitors and mix environment. When I began using the Primacoustic Recoil Stabilizers, I immediately noticed improvements in the low end clarity of my near field monitors, to the point that I no longer needed to use a separate subwoofer. Incredibly, the detail of high frequencies and image localization were also improved.”
The Recoil Stabilizers are available in a variety of sizes and firing angles to adapt to various monitor sizes and positioning requirements. For more information, visit http://www.primacoustic.com
