New NSCA Three-Day Project Management Program Class Debuts In November

Jump start your project management skills and begin making more money for your company by enrolling in NSCA’s new, three-day Project Management Program.

“In this course, you’ll learn how to manage all aspects of a project from start to finish,” said Senior Director of Professional Development Norah Hammond. “You’ll emerge poised to take charge of projects and, as a result, boost your company’s bottom line.”

The class — which covers both fundamental and advanced concepts — examines a wide variety of topics, including how to: manage both the human and financial aspects of projects, manage billings and cash flow, and mitigate project risks.

The first class will be offered November 12-14, 2008, in Philadelphia, PA, at a special member introductory price of $824, which includes materials and the exam. Thereafter, the member price will be $949; the non-member fee will be $1,149.

Two classes are planned for 2009:

March 18-20, 2008 Seattle

September 16-18, 2009 Chicago

The three-day class is designed to help students improve profitability through greater efficiency and reduced cost overruns.

In addition to the new program, NSCA will continue to offer a wide variety of one-and two-day project management courses to help companies streamline their business operations:

September 23-25, 2008 Estimating of Systems Projects and Project Management of Systems Projects, Oklahoma City

January 20-23, 2009 Project Management and Advanced Project Management, New Orleans

May 12-14, 2009 Project Management for Owners and Project Management of Systems Projects, Houston
