Geerts Named Product Marketing Manager For Bosch Conferencing Systems AMEC

Bosch Communications Systems has announced the appointment of Kees Geerts as Product Marketing Manager, Conferencing Systems AMEC.  With Geerts’ appointment, Bosch reinforces its activities in the AMEC region for their Public Address and Conferencing Systems Business Lines, which are a part of the Bosch Communications Systems Business Unit.

Geerts is based at Bosch Communications Systems HQ in Burnsville, MN, and began his new position in August, 2008. Geerts and his wife moved to the U.S.A. from the Netherlands, and now reside in the downtown area of Minneapolis, MN.

“I’m delighted to join the team at Burnsville,” says Kees, “and look forward to the continued growth of our Conferencing Systems Business Line in the Americas.” When Bosch Security Systems acquired Telex Communications, Inc. in 2006, an opportunity to share products and sales channels was created: “By using the experienced sales channels of the previous Telex Communications, we can focus and grow our Public Address and Conferencing business substantially in the Americas,” Geerts adds.

As Product Marketing Manager for Conferencing Systems, Geerts will utilize expertise gained from four years spent working with Bosch’s unique Conferencing Systems, and in particular his direction of the building of interfaces between Product Managers located at Bosch headquarters in Breda, the Netherlands, and the Telex South American and Regional American Sales Team.

As PM for Conferencing Systems, Geerts was responsible for overseeing Bosch’s Congress (Conferencing) product portfolio, as well as investigating the market for Congress (Conferencing) products, analyzing the competition, and figuring out new ways to meet customer requirements. He was responsible for bringing DCN Wireless into the market (DCN is the abbreviation for Digital Congress Network). This Wireless Conferencing System is known for extreme flexibility with no compromises in reliability.

Geerts earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Hogeschool West-Brabant in Breda, the Netherlands.
