The MIDAS PRO Series family moves up a gear with the PRO X control centre and the industry-changing NEUTRON Audio System Engine. Featuring 168 simultaneous input channels and 99 time-aligned and phase-coherent mix buses, the PRO X sets a new performance benchmark in high-profile live sound applications.

  • The PRO X provides 168 inputs and 99 mix or 103 output channels simultaneously on a control surface measuring less than 1.5metres/60” wide; an output-centric approach redefining monitor mix workflows allowing for even the most demanding stage monitoring applications.
  • AES50 digital audio connectivity allows for scalability for up to 288 network inputs and 296 network outputs.
  • Capable of up to 800 audio channels with the revolutionary development of the Midas Neutron Audio System Engine which can be routed on a point-to-point basis and changed on individual automation scenes.
  • Advanced FPGA and MIMD (Multiple Instruction, Multiple Data) architecture delivers more than 100 gigaflops of real-time audio processing performance, translating into 271 simultaneous processing channels at 96 kHz and 40-bit floating point operation.
  • AES50 and HyperMAC audio networking combine ultra-low latency performance with true ‘Plug and Play’ connectivity which minimizes set-up and configuration time for engineers.
  • Backward compatibility of show files allows shows created on the Midas PRO Series console to work the same on any other Midas PRO console.
  • Seamless integration with IP-compliant third party audio networks, such as Audinate Dante and Cirrus Logic CobraNet, using the Klark Teknik DN9650 Network Bridge.
  • All existing PRO 3, 6 and 9 owners can easily upgrade their system to the PRO X by replacing certain section of their control surface and upgrading to the new Neutron DSP engine, using the existing remote
