GALAXY is the first Meyer Sound processor to be fully networkable, with multiple units sharing 24-bit/96 kHz multi-channel audio via an AVB network. Maximum input count has been increased to eight for easier implementation of 7.1 systems, and a new generation of FPGA-based processing delivers increased dynamic range, a lower noise floor, and super-low latency of 0.6ms analog in to analog out. Three versions are available to suit system size and I/O requirements: GALAXY 816, GALAXY 816-AES3, and GALAXY 408.

  • Fully networkable following AVB protocols
  • New generation of FPGA- based processing
  • Up to 64-bit resolution for increased dynamic range and low noise floor
  • Low latency of only 0.6 ms analog in to analog out
  • Improved delay integration to combine varied loudspeaker elements
  • Delay matrix for adjusting gain and time values at cross points
  • Word clock input
  • Easy integration with Crestron controllers
