APB products use a unique “hybrid” construction method where a passive mother board is used in blocks to which all passive components (pots, switches, etc)and active field replaceable active modules are attached. All chassis are of sold heavy gauge construction. The internal electrical design uses mostly direct coupled circuitry avoiding the use of electrolytic capacitors. The results is a product that can withstand the rigors of hard use with a long product life and resulting high ROI in professional applications while offering an exceptionally high audio quality and feature set.

APB products are derived directly from user feedback added to the over 70 years of combined console design experience of its console design team. Products are offered exclusively to the U.S. market through a network of Professional Audio dealers, AV houses and Sound contractors, and the product is tailored to these professional needs and applications. The use of APB consoles within most systems should make it easier to maximize the performance of that system. With a bandwidth of over 115kHz and low phase shift characteristics, systems tend to be more transparent and have a much tighter bottom end than conventional designs. ProRack is a 16 channel mixer available in FOH or Monitor configuration and of “hybrid” modular design with complete professional feature sets including Burr-Brown mic preamps with Mic/Line, Pad, 48V and polarity reverse switches. L-R-C-M assignment plus 4 subgroups and 6 auxiliary buses or 8 Stereo/2 Mon mix configurations are available.
