Powersoft M28Q HDSP+ETH

The M28Q HDSP+ETH is a four-channel power amplifier for touring and installation, including 70V applications, that offers 700W at 4 from each of four channels, with bridgeable pairs enabling configuration flexibility. DSP functionality on every channels plus Ethernet connectivity may be managed via Powersoft’s Armon Pro Audio Suite PC software.

Powersoft patented bridgeable class D outputs provide high quality sound, outstanding damping factor and, together with the switch mode power supply, optimal efficiency. This results in reduced operational costs from lower power consumption of both amplifier and external cooling, and makes on-site AC mains distribution vastly easier. Internal 4x4-channel DSP hidden in the amplifier to prevent tampering. Locally, the M28Q DSP+ETH lets the user access up to four presets per push button on the rear panel.

Flexible power for very low impedance lines to high impedance speaker lines: 700W@4 and 500W@70V(62VRMS). 1RU compact size, can be 2x4, 3x4, or 4x4 configured with high efficiency design low BTU output. Separate input and output EQ’s with numerous filters of various types up to 48 dB/oct. (IIR). 170 ms delay, sophisticated DSP limiter system comprising peak, RMS voltage, and frequency shaping limiting.  Damping control for subwoofer or LF speakers by compensating for DC resistance typically associated with low impedance speaker circuits. Imagine 12 bi-amped monitor mixes with DSP in 6RU and weighing less than 120 lbs.
Cost and space saving design, the M28Q DSP+ETH provides unparalleled levels of control and monitoring through the Armon Pro Audio Suite software. High performance DSP with IIR is tucked away inside the amplifier and is safe against accidental or intentional tampering. Benefitting from core technologies of Powersoft’s flagship K Series, the M28Q DSP+ETH sets a class standard in efficiency leading to low power consumption, and offers space (1RU) and weight (16 lb) savings, reducing touring transport costs. All applications benefit from streamlined system wiring through the ability to drive 70V lines without the need for transformers. For installations the M Series DSP+ETH can be monitored and controlled from third party control systems, such as Crestron and AMX programs.
