Powersoft K10 DSP+AESOP

The K10 DSP+AESOP two-channel high-power up to 6000W/channel amplifier for high-performance touring is fully integrated, highly sophisticated, yet easy to use. Onboard DSP provides sound shaping and system management capabilities, remotely controllable using Powersoft’s Armon Pro Audio Suite software, with networking via the KAESOP Ethernet/AES3 interface.

The amplifier incorporates Powersoft’s patented universal switching mode power supply enabling an incredible slew rate, with Power Factor Correction for worldwide AC acceptance and low consumption. DSP functionality includes 96 kHz dual 24-bit conversion stages with EQ, crossovers, true power limiting, damping control, and delay, live impedance monitoring, continuous tone supervision capabilities, with error reporting via contact closure or email notification through Powersoft’s Armon Pro Suite software. The AESOP interface provides four standard Ethernet ports and hub functionality for two AES3 digital audio streams equivalent to four analog signal channels over the same RJ45, allowing for a redundant ring architecture.

Flexible high power for very low impedance lines 6000W@2 Ohm and 4000W@4. 1RU compact size, high efficiency design low BTU output, analog and AES inputs with automatic analog back-up. Separate input and group EQ with Raised Cosine Filters, and output EQ’s with numerous filters of various types up to 48 dB/oct. (IIR), linear phase (FIR), and hybrid (FIR+IIR), or custom linear phase (FIR). Sophisticated limiter system comprising peak, RMS voltage, RMS current, and TruePower limiting. Damping control for subwoofer or LF speakers by compensating for DC resistance typically associated with low impedance speaker circuits. Presets for JBL, EAW, and other speakers are available.
Cost savings galore: The K10 DSP+AESOP incorporates many patented Powersoft technologies and Green Audio Power® functionality. Powersoft’s high quality sound, excellent damping factor and cooler circuits for stable performance over time and longer amplifier life. AES input and AES Ethernet distribution, along with onboard highly integrated DSP functionality, with live impedance graph monitoring and remotely managed via Powersoft’s software, can reduce total system size and weight through the elimination of outboard processing racks. For installations, the K Series DSP+AESOP can be monitored and controlled from third party control systems, such as Crestron,AMX, and Media Matrix programs.
