Meyer Sound MINA

MINA™ is the newest and smallest member of the Meyer Sound MILO™ family of self-powered line array loudspeakers. Though 18.5 inches wide and weighing only 41.2 pounds, MINA’s robust acoustical output (128 dB SPL @ 1 m) makes it ideal for main arrays in smaller venues or as delay and fill with larger MILO family systems. MINA performs with crisp intelligibility and extraordinary musicality while also offering easy array configuration, discreet appearance and a cost-saving compact truck pack.

Various innovations, including patented technologies, provide MINA with unique benefits whether deployed as compact arrays in smaller venues or when used as a delay/fill loudspeaker with larger MILO, MICA or M’elodie arrays. MINA’s three-inch diaphragm compression driver couples to an acoustical manifold-based on patented ribbon emulation technology-that results in low distortion and focused dispersion. The close proximity of the cone drivers to each other, as well as to the high frequency horn, allows them to operate in parallel over their full frequency range to deliver the greatest acoustic output. This combination produces very high output with low distortion, and matches the sonic signature of larger MILO family components to afford seamless blending between main and fill/delay systems. The on-board amplifier and electronics module incorporates proprietary signal processing that results in flat frequency and phase response. Its Class-D amplifier uses minimal AC power when idle and at max output.
