Alcons Audio USA LR7B micro line-array bass

Non-compressed, 1:1 high-output sound reproduction with exceptional intelligibility, projection control, “throw” and with up to 90% less distortion than traditional systems; the LR7 micro pro-ribbon line-array offers the industry’s best “size/weight-to-throw” ratio; As all Alcons line-arrays without “creative horn plumbing”. The LR7B is the accompanying micro line-array bass system for the LR7, with a size of just 3-CD’s-high-by-3-CD’s wide and a weight of only 41.8lb.

The LR7B features a single 12” long excursion Neodymium woofer in bandpass loading configuration, delivering high quality, high output bass response from a micro-sized and weight efficient package. The extended frequency response of the dual tuning enables the LR7B to be used as mid-bass reinforcement (80Hz-160Hz), full-range bass extension (45Hz-160Hz) or subwoofer (45Hz-75Hz). Main attention was paid to the concentric band-pass configuration, consisting of 4 + 1 individual reflex vents in circular configuration, offering increased efficiency bass response in full-space (flown) and in half-space (stacked) applications. In order to optimize the response, reducing distortion even further, the incorporated “reflex-vent muffler™” dampens the reflex vent resonance induced in the lower-tuned ports. The result is a clean low-mid and broad-band bass response with an RMS output of 124dB. The SignalIntegritySensing™ pre-wiring ensures complete cable/connector compensation between the LR7B and ALC amplified loudspeaker controller, resulting in a very tight and accurate mid and bass response.
