Non-compressed, 1:1 high-output sound reproduction with up to 90% less distortion than traditional systems; The LR14 passive 2-way ultra-compact pro-ribbon line-array module redefines throw and intelligibility standards in this category. The LR14B is the accompanying high-output ultra-compact line-array bass system for the LR14.
The LR14B features double 12” Neodymium woofers in bandpass loading configuration, delivering high quality, high output bass response from a ultra-compact sized and weight efficient package. In order to achieve a (much) higher efficiency than the conventional front-loading arrangement, the long-excursion 12” drivers are each individually tuned to a different frequency bandwidth. The extended frequency response of the dual tuning enables the LR14B to be used as mid-bass reinforcement (80Hz-160Hz), full-range bass extension (45Hz-160Hz) or subwoofer (45Hz-75Hz). The LR14B offers surprising versatility, as it can be flown, stacked or serve as basis for a stand-mount triple-LR14 array. The LR14B is powered and controlled by the ALC amplified loudspeaker controller, which offers LR14B-specific drive processing with response optimisation, dedicated power and excursion protection, hybrid filtering and cardoid processing. Through the SIS™ (Signal Integrity Sensing) circuit, cable-length and connector resistance between the LR14B and ALC is completely compensated (damping factor 10.000), further increasing response accuracy.
- Double-tuned band-pass design with high efficiency Neodymium 12” drivers for excellent performance-to-weight ratio. - Ultra-compact and lightweight yet rigid cabinet construction. - Versatile system: Stackable and flyable with LR14 line-array or in separate arrays. - SIS pre-wired for very high damping and further reduced distortion (with ALC). - Integrated flying system with 10:1 safety rating. - Durotect™ impact-resistant coating.
