Adamson Systems Engineering Energia E15

The E15 Line Source Array is built for touring. It features incredibly high power, low distortion Kevlar driver technology,new co-linear drive module optimized with finite and boundary element analysis for seamless mid/high integration, and the revolutionary Autolock rigging system which enables flying a system in record-breaking time. The E15 is engineered to house two proprietary Class D amplifier modules, and connects to the Adamson “Ground Control” unit using an innovative single cable which houses power, signal and network.

Each Adamson E15 cabinet begins with the provocative e-Capsule, precisely engineered and constructed, in lightweight Aluminium and Aircraft Steel.  The patent pending e-Capsule is the heart of the E15 system, housing mid/high components, waveguides, amplification, network electronics and the Autolock rigging system which allows for 8 incremental positions, a cable energizes the E15 with analog and digital signals, network control and 3-phase AC power. The E15 requires one cable for four enclosures. The E15’s waveguide pattern provides 90 of horizontal coverage (+/- 3dB), while vertical coverage is determined by the quantity of 6-degree cabinets utilized in any given array. The e-Capsule is then flanked by two single 15 Baltic birch trapezoidal e-Enclosures. The Birch enclosures provide the acoustical integrity and natural warmth of a wooden cabinet, but since they are simply bolted onto the side of the e-Capsule, there is no influence over rigging alignment. The new Blueprint AV Software suite offers 3D simulation and full control of the system.
