The Eminence KILOMAX PRO 18A is an 18-inch woofer/driver with a 4-inch voice coil, well suited to deliver exceptional performance in demanding subwoofer applications. 

Key specifications for the KILOMAX PRO 18A: nominal basket diameter is 18 inches; nominal impedance is 8 ohms; power rating is 1,250 watts and 2,500 watts for musi program; usable frequency range is 33 Hz - 300 Hz; sensitivity is 95.8; voice coil diameter is 4 inches; gap height is 0.375 of an inch.

The KILOMAX PRO 18A features a cast aluminum Eminence chassis that is lightweight and strong. Aluminum does not conduct the magnetic field out of the gap, thereby making the motor strength higher and the stray magnetic field lower. The chassis and all metal components with an epoxy-acrylic finish using a specialized in-house e-coat process, with the coating thickness consistent to within 0.001 of an inch, critical when working with close tolerance transducer motor designs. Front and rear sealing gaskets on each model accommodate front or rear loading. The KILOMAX PRO 18A has a very high moving mass (Mms), a long coil, and a high Qt. The cone is strong enough for traditional style horns, Leach style horns, Reflex designs, sealed designs, and bandpass enclosures.
