PreSonus Capture

Capture™ is a multi-track application designed to make recording quick and easy. Capture uses the same audio engine as PreSonus’ Studio One DAW and was designed exclusively for StudioLive™ mixers, allowing instant setup and recording with no configuration. You get basic transport and cut/copy/paste edit functions and can drop markers between songs, on the fly, during recording, then export songs as separate files. Capture imports WAV and AIFF and exports WAV and Open TL files.

With PreSonus Capture you can: Record in Capture, mix and process through the StudioLive, and then print your mix back to Capture. Record all 32 channels plus 2 assignable channels when used with two daisy-chained StudioLive 16.4.2 mixers. Record a stereo track from the StudioLive’s main outputs, subgroup outputs, aux sends, solo bus, talkback mic, aux inputs, internal FX sends, or internal FX returns Place markers on the fly to divide the songs in a live set and then export each song separately. Export your recordings as WAV files or in Open TL format and import them into a DAW. Stream recorded audio back into the StudioLive, create a live mix, and print it to Capture. Integrate previously recorded material into a live performance by bringing prerecorded WAV or AIFF tracks into Capture and send the tracks to StudioLive channels. Stereo-link channels and record interleaved stereo files from linked channels on the StudioLive mixer.
