The number of inputs can be expanded by using Rio stage boxes on the Audinate Dante protocol connected via Cat-5 up to 100 meters in length. The 5RU Rio3224-D stage box provides 32 inputs, 16 outputs and 4 AES/EBU outputs and the 3RU Rio1608-D has 16 inputs and 8 outputs.
The CL1 also provides 2-track recording to USB and can accommodate multi-track recording to a DAW via Dante. Standard Yamaha Mini-YGDAI cards offer connection to AES/EBU, ADAT, CobraNet, EtherSound, MADI, Riedel RockNet, Optocore and Waves. The console can also integrate with the Aviom A-Net personal monitoring system. CL Editor software offers offline editing and live control, and the StageMix app for iPad provides wireless control of mix functions. The CL1 measures 25.5 x 26.3 x 11.8 inches (w x d x h) and weighs 52.9 pounds.
