Roland Systems Group M-200i

Supplies 32 channels, 8 aux buses, 4 matrix buses, left and right main output buses, 8 DCAs and 8 assignable buttons. The surface features 17 faders on 5 layers, a 132 x 64 LCD screen and the option to hardwire an iPad as a 7.9-inch color screen. Onboard I/O includes 16 XLR inputs, 6 TRS inputs, 2 RCA inputs, 8 XLR outputs, 4 TRS outputs, USB, MIDI and AES output. The number of inputs and outputs can be expanded by using any of the Roland digital snake boxes, adding 40 more inputs to the 16 onboard. These stage boxes use the Roland REAC protocol and can be located up to 100 meters from the console.

Two-track recording is available to USB, and a Roland R-1000 digital recorder can be connected via REAC, allowing multi-track recording for 48 tracks. Networking to MADI is done via the Roland MADI bridge. The Roland M-48 personal mixing system can also be integrated via REAC. Remote editing and live control can be accomplished with a computer running the M-200i RCS software. An additional iPad using the M-200i remote app can be networked, allowing wireless control of all major functions. The M-200i measures 19.3 x 19.3 x 7.8 inches (w x d x h) and weighs 21.6 pounds.
