Line 6 has expanded the StageSource line of loudspeakers with the smaller-footprint L2m and L2t. Don Boomer notes that both 2-way models include DSP-based “Smart Speaker” modes for optimizing them for use as main PA, floor monitor, personal PA, backline and other applications. Onboard accelerometers and pole-mount sensors automatically detect the loudspeakers’ orientation and set their Smart Speaker modes accordingly. Both also use the proprietary digital networking protocol called L6 LINK to simplify setup.
