    Don Puluse, president of the AES Educational Foundation, as well as its board of directors, have announced the recipients of the 2012 AES Educational Grants for Graduate Studies in the field of Audio Engineering. The Emil Torick Scholar is Matthias Leimeister, who will pursue an MSi in Medientechnnologie in Audio Signal Processing from the Technische Universitat Ilmenau.     Our Own English High School in Sharjah, UAE, has upgraded the sound system in its auditorium from Allen & Heath analog to iLive digital control. The school was using an Allen & Heath analogue console and decided to stay with the brand for the upgrade.
