Sennheiser has introduced the EM 550 dual-channel, true-diversity RF receiver for professional touring and installation applications

Newest addition to the evolution Series, the EM 550 includes 1280 switchable frequencies. Up to eight EM 550s (16 channels) can use one pair of diversity antennas via the integrated active antenna splitter. The unit also includes an HDX compander (compatible with any evolution transmitter).Frequency response is 60 Hz to 18 kHz, dynamic range is 110 dB (A).

The unit also includes an integrated, shielded power transformer and a front-mounted headphone jack that facilitates monitoring. The EM 550's all-metal frame mounts in one rack space.
