Two New Stereo Graphic Equalizers From Rane

The new Rane SEQ 30S and SEQ 30L stereo graphic equalizers offer stereo operation on a single set of sliders (eliminates slider matching), ±12 dB level control with "+4 dBu" and "OL" indicators, extremely low noise with a 115 dB dynamic range and constant-Q technology providing "truth in slider position."

Both are 30-band units, offering balanced XLR & 1/4-in inputs and outputs and internal power supplies with low-noise toroid transformers. The SEQ 30S has 20 mm short-throw sliders (compact), 1U high. The SEQ 30L has 45 mm long-throw sliders (more resolution, same range), 2U high.

The SEQ 30S uses Short space-saving 20 mm sliders, while the SEQ 30L uses long and more precise 45 mm sliders. All other features are identical.

The SEQ 30S is a 30-band equalizer with ultimate stereo accuracy. The single set of faders controls both left and right channels simultaneously, maintaining true stereo tracking and utilizing constant-Q technology. This EQ fills the void for true stereo applications.

An input level control is provided along with a bypass switch, enabling easy gain comparisons between equalized and unequalized signal. +4 dBu and overload indicators detect both input and post-EQ levels.
