Quik-Lok Debuts Lightweight, Compact Speaker Stand

Quik-Lok has introduced the S-170 Tripod Speaker Stand for DJ, performing musician and portable sound applications.

The S-170 includes Quik-Lok's non-strip-out height adjustment collar and a heavy-duty nylon leg joint with tightening block. Constructed with strong, lightweight steel tubing, the S-170 will support speaker cabinets that weigh up to 125 pounds. The S-170 stand also includes a chain-secured steel safety pin for extra security as it prevent the user from accidentally releasing and dropping the speaker. A snap-lock holder secures the safety pin in place when the stand is folded or when it is being transported.

The minimum height of the S-170 is 52 inches (132cm,) with a maximum height of 78.7 inches (200cm). The base-spread diameter is 29.9 inches (76cm) to 39.4 inches (100cm), for sure footing. When folded, the S-170 is compact,measuring 45.3 inches (115cm) long. Weight is 8.9 pounds (4kg).

The S-170 has a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) tube diameter and a provided adapter will accommodate speaker cabinets with a 1-1/2 inch (38mm) inside diameter (ID) standmount socket. It is available in a black matte finish, covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty and has a U.S. suggested list price of $99.95.
