QSControl Now Available Via QSC Website

QSC www.qscaudio.com has announced that QSControl software is now available as a free download from the company’s website. Tools in the package include System Manager, Plug-ins for MS VB and Signal Manager for control of processing devices.

Briefly, QSControl Software is a suite of tools for managing the company’s network audio system. The suite consists of System Manager, QSControl Plug-ins for Microsoft VB (Visual Basic), and Signal Manager for integration and control of signal processing products such as the DSP-3.

System Manager requires no programming to operate the system. The software facilitates comprehensive signal metering and gain adjustment for each amplifier on the network.

Adjustable parameters include input sensitivity, input level, and inverse signal polarity. System Manager also enables comprehensive amplifier management, including the monitoring of clip, protect, and operating temperature, along with load resistance and programmable thresholds for detecting loudspeaker opens and shorts. System Manager also provides an Event Log, enabling the tracking of numerous system events.

QSC’s Signal Manager software makes DSP configuration an simple task with a PC-based "drag-and-drop" GUI (graphical user interface). Users can access a DSP "toolbox" and simple drawing tools to configure processing functions and signal flow. DSP functions are dynamically assignable and any combination of functions may be configured until the total capacity of processing power and memory is used.
