Perdue Acoustics Introduces New Wedge Panels

Perdue Acoustics has debuted the Wedge and Mega-Wedge, acoustical panels available in reflector, diffuser and absorber units. Both are fabricated out of the company's patented core material.

The Wedge has a slope that rises from a 1-in thickness on one side to a 3.5-in thickness on the opposite side, while the Mega-Wedge slopes from a 3.5-in to 6-in.

The Mega-Wedge has an NRC rating of 1.30 in a tight configuration and an NRC of 1.95 when separated 2 feet apart.

The 2-ft x 4-ft reflector/diffuser units, made of polyethylene, are available in both Wedge and Mega-Wedge shapes. They have a series of complex depths of mid- to high-frequency chambers, creating secondary valleys for mid-low frequency diffusion.

These units are sized to be easily wall mounted, hung from the ceiling as "clouds", or used in a T-grid system, dropped in place of standard 2-ft x 4-ft tiles. They come in several basic colors and can be custom painted or fabric wrapped.
