Middle Atlantic's New MPR Series

Middle Atlantic Products introduced 12 power modules as part of its new MPR Series Modular Power Raceway System. The modules allow users to customize circuit and sequence control options within the new power distribution system.

Through the use of a "genderless" connector, AC power can be safely connected to modules on the same circuit or jumped to different modules within the same raceway.

The new series of modules are available with varying levels of control and status options in 15-amp, 20-amp, and 20-amp isolated ground configurations. The RLM modules offer local switch control as well as remote control via 12 volt DC and dry closure, in addition to providing dry contact on/off status indicators to Crestron, Panja and other control systems, as well as displaying status via an LED on the unit itself.

The RM series of modules can be switched remotely via 12-volt DC, while LED and dry

contact indicators signal the modules' operational status to any control system that accepts these inputs. Meanwhile, Middle Atlantic's R series provides 12-volt DC remote control for applications that do not require status indicators, while its basic M series modules are always on and are suited for installations where status indication and sequence control are not necessary.

Each of the 15-, 20- and 20-amp isolated ground modules can be easily configured within an MPR Series Raceway to best fit the needs of specific installations, and are designed to work with Middle Atlantic Products' USC-6R Universal Sequencing Controller or any other control system sending 12 volt DC or contact closure.
