New JBL MPro Sub Features Crown Power & Processing Module

JBL has introduced the MPro Series MP418SP, a single 18-in. loaded subwoofer with a Crown two-channel integrated power amplifier and signal processing module.

The module, designed specifically for the MP418SP, provides total power of 660 watts at 4 ohms. The second amp channel can be used to power a full-range loudspeaker or a second sub. And, the module also passes line level signal for powered satellite loudspeakers.

The MP418SP offers a frequency response of 30 - 150 Hz. The enclosure is outfitted with four casters and steel handles for easy transport, and also includes a pole-mount receptacle for satellite loudspeakers. It measures 24.3 x 21.2 x 30.6 inches (618 x 538 x 767 mm) and weighs 119 pounds (54 kg), a (119 pounds). The grille is made of 16 gauge-steel with hexagonal perforation.
