Innova-Son has announced that the Sensory Large Scale digital console is now shipping.
Building on the electronic infrastructure of the smaller models already available in the Sensory Series, Innova-Son's Large Scale can process 96 input channels, 46 pre-mix buses, and 20 matrix and LCR master buses using a crystal clear 20-bit interface/40-bit internal word size.

Each channel and physical output includes a full compliment of processing power, including digital trim, a five or eight-band parametric equalizer, low cut and notch filters, a gate/expander, a compressor/limiter, and delay. |
All internal and external routing is flexible, and comprehensive monitoring resources provide PLF, AFL, and APL listening at any point in the signal path. Users can instantly recall every parameter. Like all Innova-Son consoles, the LARGE SCALE Series takes its inputs from dedicated stage boxes, which send and transmit dozens of digital channels over lightweight coaxial cable.
"The Sensory LARGE SCALE Series responds to the needs of larger venues, bringing Innova-Son's easy-to-use and amazingly flexible digital power to the folks who require bigger guns," observed Jeff Alexander, director of distributed brands [at Sennheiser]. "Aside from its number of inputs and outputs, the other substantive difference between the LARGE SCALE and previous Sensory Consoles is its new Hierarchies Pre-Mix Architecture(tm) organization [system]. [This concept] builds on the success of Innova-Son's award-winning software, adding greater ease-of-use to a system that was already head and shoulders above the competition."
The Innova-Son LARGE SCALE Console starts at $140,000.
