Electro-Voice Wireless System For Test & Measurement
The new Electro-Voice
RTM-1 (Remote Test Microphone) is a wireless system providing
a wireless link between test microphones and audio analyzers,
allowing testing from many different points in a large room
or arena without having to move the measurement gear.
The system includes a rack receiver with matched 1/2-wave
collinear ground independent antennas and a compact bodypack
transmitter that accommodates most measurement microphones.
The package also includes a mic stand mounting clip for the
transmitter, a metal micro-pack transmitter and a LEMO connector
to XLR microphone cord.

Notably, the RTM-1 offers the ability to defeat the
companding circuit, thus facilitating the transmission
of audio signals without the typical distortion or coloration
present in standard wireless microphones.

RTM-1 systems are available in frequencies from 566 MHz to
662 MHz and exhibit a frequency response of 50-15,000 Hz at
+/- 1 dB. The receiver signal-to-noise ratio is 110 dB, typical
with the compander circuit engaged.
RTM-1 systems are available for immediate order and three-week
delivery. The RTM-1 is priced at $1,700 (US).
