Crown Debuts New XLS Series Amplifiers

Crown has introduced the XLS Series of power amplifiers.

The new XLS 202, 402 and 602 – all 3U in size - include a selectable high-pass filter (30Hz/15Hz/Off) on each channel, enabling the amplifier to work more efficiently when not being used with full-range cabinets or subwoofers.

A pair of linear optocoupler clip limiters helps protect loudspeakers from being overdriven.A forced air fan prevents excessive thermal buildup. Front panel of all XLS models include dual detented level controls, a power switch and four LEDs that indicate clip for each channel, power and fault conditions. Rear panel connections include two electronically balanced XLR inputs and touch-proof binding post outputs.

XLS 202 - 250W / 2 Ohms; 200W / 4 Ohms; 145W / 8 Ohms
XLS 402 - 570W / 2 Ohms; 400W / 4 Ohms; 260W / 8 Ohms
XLS 602 - 840W / 2 Ohms; 600W / 4 Ohms; 370W / 8 Ohms
